Hotel de ville de Compiegne is the historic Compiegne City Hall building from the Late Middle Ages. Built by Pierre Navye, it has a flamboyant gothic style of the 16th century. It has ornate carvings and is adorned with 19th century statues of Louis XII riding and key figures in the history of Compiègne. Its belfry contains the "Bancloque," one of the oldest known communal bells cast in 1303, with a diameter of 1.35 meters (4.5 feet).
