Landmark · Tourist Spot
As ancient as the Pyramids of Giza, Cairn Du Petit Mont is a Neolithic structure built to line up with the sun. Erected in three phases, the most ancient cairn dates to 4,500 BCE and the most recent was built around 2,000 BCE. Visit the megalithic architecture and go inside the dolmens to view huge granite blocks with archaic engravings of snakes, axes, signs, and various motifs. You can explore on your own, attend a guided tour in English, or join an educational workshop.
