  • A ruined castle being rebuilt by volunteers. At the end of a nice 1.5 km (1 mi) mostly-flat hike (probably do-able with a stroller, but not wheelchair accessible).
  • Free! It's only a 3 km stroll up a reasonably surfaced forest track from the middle of Mittelbergheim and a great way to pay off some wine calories (200 metre climb). Shaded route, ideal for warm days and rainy alternatives too.
