We paid €6.00 per adult for the two museums in the compound and had a great time. The ground floor exhibits don’t have any explanations in English but upstairs, which is the most interesting part... more »

A ticket to the forest museum gives you access to the Sagadi manor as well. I found the forest museum interesting. Lots of info about the kind of trees and animals that live in the Lahemaa NP... more »

Ein einzigartiges, sehr lebensnahes Museum, was sich mit der Flora und der Fauna des Estland Waldes. Die Gestaltung im einzigen Waldmuseum Estland's ist überzeugend und sehr gut gelungen. Es befindet sich, verteilte auf zwei Etagen im einstigen Speicher- und Kutschengebäude aus dem Jahre 1796. Die Dauerausstellung "Der Wald ernährt uns" wurde 2012 preisgekrönt! Sie zeigt die Arbeit an und mit dem Wald. Fotos, Videos und Ausstellungsstücke von Werkzeugen u. Gebrauchsartikel werden beschrieben. Die große Trophäen Sammlung präparierter Tiere des Waldes sind ein Highlight. Kinderspielecke und Museumsladen mit den Naturprodukten des Handwerks der Region runden das Antlitz des sehr schönen Museums ab. Eintrittspreise sind sehr moderat. Hinfahren und anschauen, denn im und um das Herrenhaus Sagadi gibt es viel zu sehen und zu bestaunen.

A museum that is unique, very down-to-Earth, what with the flora and fauna of Estonia forest. The design in the single forest Museum of Estonia succeeded in convincing and very good. There are distributed on two floors in the former storage and carriage building dating back to 1796. The permanent exhibition "The forest feeds us" awarded 2012! It shows the work on and with the forest. Photos, videos and exhibits of tools and use articles are described. The large trophies collection of stuffed animals of the forest are a highlight. Children's play area and Museum shop with natural products of the craft of the region round off the face of the beautiful Museum. Ticket prices are very reasonable. Go and watch them, because in the and around Sagadi Manor, there's plenty to see and admire.
