Carless Reef, Hurghada

#6 of 14 in Parks in Hurghada
Reef · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Swim through a coral garden across a shimmering plateau along Carless Reef, a popular diving site. This isolated 60 m (197 ft) deep wall stands between Shaab Umm Qamar and Giftun islands and features dense coral forests and colorful fish. The reef, which sits on two peaks brushing the water's surface, is home to a large population of semi-tame moray eels and brightly colored marine life. Experienced divers can explore caves from 40 m (131 ft) down and deeper. Hammerhead sharks, tuna, jacks, and barracudas can be spotted at deeper depths.
