  • We went to the Podocarpus by Zamora. Then De15 min in a taxi that we charge $4 we got to the parking lot. From there you walk about 20 min until you reach the interpretation centre. The place is wonderful, green everywhere, butterflies accompany the trail, water everywhere and certain birds. We stayed one night and visited the Mighty Waterfall (10min), The gossip (5 min). We went to the River Bombuscaro (5 min) and went up to the viewpoint (50 min). We just missed the 8-hour Higuerones trail. The Podocarpus and its marked trails are worth a visit. The place has free shelters. You can go with sleeping bag and prepared for mosquitoes.
