San Cristobal is quickly becoming very human friendly place but a rather local nature Unfriendly area. Why did we need yet another pier for tourism? The one by Casablanca served well. Sea lions have less and less space. And now they want to build a deep water pier at la predial? Cargo trailers coming and going on that road? I don't know if they even stop to think of it, but they will ruin one of the most accessible and yet pretty snorkel spots in Pto. Baquerizo. What will happen with the sea lions at Playa Mann? A new dock involves more noise and pollution (oil, gas...) Very very sad.
