Swim in crystal clear waters surrounded by craggy rock walls at Las Grietas. You'll find plenty of incredible nature on the path to the relatively hidden swimming spot, which you can reach by crossing a rocky lava field and walking by a cactus forest, before finally descending to the cool waters. Jump off the rock platform to make a splash, or grab your snorkel to check out the mysteries that lie beneath the surface. Don't forget to wear a pair of water-appropriate shoes, as the path can be extremely painful in bare feet. From the pier, you embark on a watertaxi for a very short ride and land on the other side of the bay, at Finch Bay. Through a pleasant walk of half an hour poor passing through the playa de los Alemanes and crossing the saline in a lagoon you arrive easily at the destination where you have to register before descending to the canyon to bathe between the two walls of Rock. The place is unfortunately very busy, but definitely worth the visit. You can snorkel in the deep water: we have seen beautiful moray eels in addition to other beautiful big fish. Going beyond the first stretch of rocks, you can enjoy a less crowded bath. The walk over the canyon continues to a lookout that offers open views of the bay in the direction of Puerto Aayora.
