I would definitely recommend to visit any Plaza central in Latin America, it this one in particular has an special charm, Otavalo s an indigenous town with a colonial past and a very rich history. Here you can see the blend of 3 great civilisations: Cranqui, Inca and Spanish.

This is more of a plaza than an actual park. It is nice and has lovely buildings surrounding it. There is a 'fatherhood' statue or head in the center To one side is the Simon Bolivar building and at one end is a beautiful church. It's very popular for people to gather here.
