  • I travel regularly to Copenhagen, and given Denmark's prices I am happy to recommend to other families free activities where children will find guaranteed fun. In Faelledparken (reachable from Osterport train station with two bus stops to Trianglen), on the southern tip of the park there is a wonderful playground where the various structures represent Copenhagen's towers and monuments. My two-and-a-half-year-old spent a good hour there, but she'd stay longer. There is a tower with the highest slide I have ever seen, a steep mountain with lower slides surrounded by a sand area (wanting to add water, the fountain is right next door), a bridge, more or less conventional swings and many cottages in which get in and out. Very recommended. In front of Faelledparken is another indoor playground called Blegdamsremisen, which we have been recommended and which we will try for the next trip in a few weeks. Another place to take absolutely children, free of charge and which I don't think is mentioned in TripAdvisor, is the Ku.Be, a cultural center near Flintholm train station that houses, among other things, a two-story slide, a mountain for climbing with related slides, and a gym full of mattresses, tarzan-style swinging ropes, stairs to climb to then jump down, bars and more. Again, super recommended.
