Circle Bridge, Copenhagen

Bridge · Hidden Gem · Scenic Walking Area
At Circle Bridge, pause and see the city from a very different perspective. The zigzag design of the bridge will make you slowdown and linger, exactly the intention of architect Olafur Eliasson. Resembling fishing boats and sailing yachts moored closely together, five circular steel platforms topped by tall masts make the bridge that spans Christianshavns Kanal. If you spend enough time by the bridge, you'll get to see a section of it rotating and swinging open to allow passing of taller boats. It also allows good view of the waterfront and great photo opportunities.
