  • The traveller in Vendsyssel will soon be aware that the churches here are not only high, as the ski is in Denmark as a whole, but that they are also freely located. Hune Church is no exception. Old maps clearly show. That the church was solitary and freely located, and the village of Hune consisted of far up in the 1900 century only by a few estates and houses, the so-called Meetinghouses, along the road between Blokhus-Aalborg. Up to the church came along the old road, which from ancient times had led the road to the north to Saltum and Børglum and to the south to Tranum and Aggersund The Nordic region of the church is seen as the memorial stone of the 20 German refugees who died in Blokhus after the war, and it is also here to the north that the Hune cemetery Lapidarium has got its place. It is sought by many, e.g. Of those who believe and hope that they can find a stone over some of their deceased relatives. Here in the Lapidarium, which has been given a magnificent location-right out to the free area to the north and west-is found, for example. The stone overlearns Niels Kjær.

  • Pretty little church like there are many in Denmark. The door is open. Also the garden or cemetery complex around it is very nicely laid out. In summer there are even regular services in German and then there are the popular summer concerts.
