this is a real castle! starting building in 1025. it has been restored and is now a hotel. it is located in a very quiet village. there is only one very tiny limited grocery store. the hotel does... more »

Absolutely gorgeous. Really sensitive reconstruction of an almost collapsed old castle. Luxurious yet affordable. Pleasant staff and great restaurant with big portions. Just mind that weddings are very common in the summer time, so expect those to happen during your stay. Not that we were bothered in any way. Comes highly recommended.
