For a little Czech-flavored taste of Paris, visit Petrinska rozhledna, dominating the surrounding area from its location high above the Vltava River. Built in 1891, this 63 m (206 ft) tall steel structure is a scaled-down copy of Paris' Eiffel Tower. The structure features 299 steps, which run on the inside of the tower and lead to two separate observation platforms. After decades of service as a transmission tower, massive renovations in 1999 turned the structure into a tourist attraction, adding a small cafe, gift shop, and exhibit area to its lower levels. Pay the small fee to access the tower's observation platforms, offering unbeatable views of the entire city. Use our Prague online day trip planner to add Petrinska rozhledna and other attractions to your Prague vacation plans.

  • I walked from the Strahov monastery. Climb on the outside staircase or use the elevator for a different price. The stairs seem to be spicy at first, but there are some resting spots, so it was not so tight. The view from the top is the best! Because a glass window is attached to the top, when taking a photograph, I think that it is taken neatly when taking it in the way of the outside stairs where the window is open. The toilet was a fee.

  • Built in 1891 for the Prague exhibition it offers a beautiful view from the top but you have to climb 300 steps to get there! Cheer up! The Park all around offers beautiful walks and viewpoints. To see.

  • Here is an historical fact; this place was built after Eiffel Tower. So it is kind of like Czech Eiffel Tower. You can see the entire city below, the view is literally amazing. And if you accidentally buy the ticket for the stairs instead of buying for the elevator like us, it is literally breath taking. If you are a person who enjoys a good city view and interesting architecture, this is a place for you to see. Enjoy the view!
  • Nice view over Prague, you can either climb all the stairs (the building os 60 meters) or take the lift. I would recommend the stairs of your condition does allow it. Due to the fact that you are on the tallest spot, you have a wonderful view over Prague. I would recommend to do it straight away as one of the first attractions, if the weather does allow it 😉
