Prachenske Museum, Pisek

This local museum is a surprise gem. Exhibits are well separated into groups such as The Arts, Sciences, etc. and these groups into subgroups. Very low entry fee for what you get. Displays are beautifully put together. The only minus for me is that although it is multilingual, English isn't included. Upon entry you are presented with a beautiful guide book which has many details of the exhibits. This book is not for sale and must be turned in as you leave. I would have been very happy to purchase a copy. They do have a gift shop but very little is available in English. I hope this is just a development issue since even guide posts in the city center are in Czech and English, something you don't see even in Prague.

I like the puppets, fishes in basement and all the old stuff! :-)
