Head to the sweet heart of town at Museo del Chocolate, a cultural attraction and cafe dedicated to all things cocoa. Though billing itself as a museum, the facility doesn't actually feature a huge range of artifacts or historical write-ups. Aside from a few interesting old wrappers, machines, and ads, the significance of the place comes from what it makes on the premises. Watch as artisans produce chocolatey treats before your eyes, and sniff the intoxicating aroma. Take a seat at the onsite cafe to try a treat from the menu of hot, cold, big, and small chocolatey products. Museo del Chocolate Reviews
Nothing much to see here, literally a 5 mins stop to see them making chocolate or purchase a pastry. more »
Llevo años yendo a la Habana y para mi siempre fue parada obligatoria el Museo del Chocolate. Un lugar para refrescarme durante mis paseos por su climatización y degustar su chocolate caliente y frío,... more »I've been going to Havana for years and for me the Chocolate Museum was always a must stop. A place to refresh me during my walks through its air conditioning and taste its hot and cold chocolate, always asked for the 2 glasses, I am passionate about chocolate. It started with the hot (0.55 cents) and then the cold (1 CUC). Unfortunately, it's not what it used to be. I've been there in September and all they have is the cold, I don't think so for a Chocolate Museum, and on top of 2 CUC, which I find quite expensive to be a state business
Could enjoy cold and hot chocolate drinks and there were many people from all over the world! Sweetness but not very sweet.. I mean it was just good enough to get more energies for the city trip! Was very nice to chat with Cuban people!
Not really what you have in mind when you think of a museum. Very good hot chocolate. The menu is limited.
