  • This is the place to go if you are fans of Buena Vista Social Club music. Get your tickets early as this place gets fully booked out. There are only two of the original band members left, and their singing skills have not diminished. The opening act was a group of girls on string instruments, very pleasant. Entree, soup and dessert were excellent. As typical in Cuba the mains were let down by lack of seasoning. Service was excellent, the girls were bringing out each course without having to be asked. Also very attentive with the drinks during the night.
  • Good show with good artists. Did not try the food (usually it's never worth it in those "combo" places). The one thing I didn't like about the show is that they spent way too much time on the "where is everyone from" bit - playing music and making jokes about countries while tourists go on stage and "sing and dance their Homeland songs". Complete waste of time but tourists seem to like it. Good show if you're in town.
