Included in the list of World Heritage Sites, ranks among the best preserved Romanesque-Gothic complexes of Central Europe. The square features historical buildings, stone houses, and quaint cafes. You'll see a large city clock that was built instead of a bell tower for a 15th-century church and a cathedral from the 12th century that has some of Dalmatia's most precious artwork. You can visit the oldest church of Trogir--the 9th-century church of St. Barbara--among other important sites.
