  • Photos do not do this waterfall justice. It's absolutely breathtaking. There's even a spot to cliff jump and climb back up on a ladder. La cocina at the waterfall base is excellent. Gabriela makes...  more »

  • This Place is BEAUTIFUL! You must visit. I do have one piece of advice, make sure you take the road that leads to Dominical and follow the big signs to the falls. If you are not afraid of extreme driving conditions then take the back roads. The back roads are also beautiful you will have the most amazing and gorgeous views however its very scary because the roads are not for the faint of heart you will encounter steep mountains, cliffs, roads where only one car can get through, streams and rivers you must cross. I unfortunately was not ready for it but I had no choice I had to keep going and Im glad I did it but I was very scared. When I left the falls I went back the other way which was a nice dirt road with no rivers, more people and easy to drive on. I recommend a 4x4 for the extreme back road. For the road from Dominical any type of vehicle can make it even a Prius. In regards to the falls you will not want to leave its the most beautiful place Ive ever seen. They have parrots flying freely, they sell food however you can bring you own if you want I recommend their food its cheap and its good. I also recommend the horses at the end when you are ready to go. The horses are friendly and pretty much know the trail. Its a beautiful experience. I HIGHLY recommend visiting this location. It truly is beautiful.
