  • A nice place with a pretty icy climate. Wearing a coat because at the time of visiting it was at 11 degrees Celsius. Foreigners pay $15 to get in. Does not include food, al. Entering will provide you with a map of the place.

  • It's a place you can't miss if you go to San Jose. Nature leaves you in a wonderful spectacle when it is clear, seeing the craters and colors of green and blue sky. Beautiful!

  • It can’t be missed, a must visit! It’s a treat for people of all ages. Be sure to carry warm cloths, it gets windy and usually due to altitude, it’s remains cold. Best time to visit is before noon. There are two craters where mineral rich water can be observed. The view point is accessible from outside which is a little climb from car parking else you can stroll along the barricades to view the volcanos.
  • A must-see. We loved it. We almost didn't go because many reviews said they only allowed you to be at the peak for 15 to 20 minutes, and that it was too pricey, overcrowded and that there wasn't much to be seen, but we found all of those statements to be false. It's 15 dollars to get in, you can stay as long as you wish, it's so large I found it find it hard to believe it would be overcrowded (we were there in high season), and the views are incredible (see pictures). The only warning I would give is: don't go on a cloudy day, because that would probably impair your view of the volcano.
