Venture off the beaten path as you step onto the cream-colored sand of Playa Biesanz. The beach is small and secluded, reached by a short trail through tropical rainforest. The trail begins at a small break in a fence between hotels Shana and Parador. Shade trees border the beach, where you can read a book or just admire the view. Go snorkeling in the clear waters, or kayak offshore to go exploring. A nearby submerged rock is known for being a good snorkeling spot. • Such a beautiful little beach. Away from the hustle and bustle, there are a few vendors on the beach selling food and drinks and kayaks/snorkeling gear for rent as well. The water is so calm and pristine, great for swimming all day long! Trees for shade and wild monkeys jumping about on the short walk in.
  • I love this small beach which is only a 10-15 minute walk from the parking area. The bay is protected from the ocean waves, so the water here is tranquil with no big waves and no undertow. A great swimming beach! There are vendors that have food, drinks, kayaks, jet skis, and paddle boards for rent. They also rent umbrellas with chairs. I saw people snorkeling on the south end of the beach. A great spot away from the crowds on wee days. Saturdays and Sundays are busier with local families enjoying the beach. The vendors go home between 5-6 pm, later on Saturday and Sunday, so you can have the beach to yourself in the evening after sunset.
