This is a community run museum. The feature exhibit is the cronosaurus which is preserved in a special room. There are also lots of fossilized plants and small sea animals available to view. There.... more »

It’s a small museum but it’s worth visiting. It cost just COP 8,000 and you’ll learn about the local heritage of fossil. The visit would be much better if complemented with a visit to the Paleontological Research Center (Centro de Investigaciones Paleontológicas) located about five minutes walk.
