See a building displaying a rather odd but charming architectural style at Casa Terracota. Designed by Colombian architect Octavio Mendoza, the house was sculpted out of clay, then fired at a high temperature to make it water and earthquake resistant. Completed in 2012, the building displays a distinctly Gaudi-influenced style, with undulating features, organic shapes, and mosaics. Interesting place no one was their to explain the history of the place but it is very unique very Guadi like? The entrance fee was 10,000 Colombian peso about $3.30 in US Dollars. I stopped by after visiting the Musica Solar site also known as Little Hell. They are close enough to do both in under a hour!

For something different and extremely worth it, visit this house. The exterior is already a piece of art itself, but the interior is something extraordinary. Every room, every corner, every detail of imagination that the architect put into it, is a wonder.
