Charming El Castillo Museo y Jardines features a wealth of artifacts exhibited in an early 20th-century mansion. Built in the 1930s in the Gothic style of French medieval castles, the building was the home of Diego Echavarria Misas and his family until his death in 1971, when the home and many of the objects in it were donated to the state. The permanent collection occupies nine rooms and features a large selection of paintings and other objects. Temporary exhibits display the work of local artists within the impressive building.
