Protected as a World Heritage-listed location, the mountain contains many scenic spots of remarkable natural beauty. Other points of interest include buildings of historical value--two Tang palaces top the list of major highlights. Go on a trek to explore the lush vegetation, clear streams, and steep rocks, and to discover traditional structures of cultural significance along the way.     Was there today ,June 11/2019. Staying at local hotel with wife and friends.taxi was 10 rmb.to mountain.. Walked up the less crowded trail.went back down cable car .entrance fee was 80 RMB.cable car was 35..this is a tourist spot but to me well worth it as it's Taoist history. Just don't expect quiet. As every where in China .all kinds of small shops at every temple .many signs in English with a brief information on the dieties was a pleasant surprise.was a work out of a walk up..stop often and rest.resume.(about 3? hours to go up)
