  • Awful. Unless you love fakes, awful food and hordes of tourists Food was generally awful, uninteresting and I would not bet on its cleanliness.  more »
  • We spent several hours touring the site and wandering the grounds. The findings are presented in a pleasant and understandable manner. The English audio guide is well done and worth the 20 yuan...  more »

  • This is a fantastic museum and well worth a visit. It includes both the archeological site where the excavations took place which is well explained and the main museum which included the artefacts which they found. The museum is very good even for English speakers as everything is available in English. It is worth noting that there is a really good audio guide available in both Chinese and English. Simply scan the we chat code as you walk into the excavation site accept the friend, click on them and then click on the first button with Chinese on the bottom left of the screen and choose audio guide.
  • Interesting place with a lot of interesting history behind it however if you can’t read or understand spoken Chinese you will not get very much out of it. Even the apps available offer little information about the relics in English. I suggest if you do want to go, take a guide or tour if you can only speak English. The dig site itself is quite bland and very very hot, the rest of the museum and gardens are quite comfortable and interesting. Price is reasonable and worth the visit, but don’t expect to get a whole lot out of it if you can’t read/understand chinese.
