First of all since it does not belong to the State of Chile, and the mayor does not allocate many resources for its maintenance, the house does not have implementation, only infrastructure (it is beautiful) however, it is not used well and apparently the real estate is in the Museum Maritime. The place apparently remains closed and only the staff in charge, which was very helpful and friendly when we visited the place. The view of Valparaiso is wonderful and unique.

Yesterday, Thursday, March 14, 2019, I went at 5 p.m. and it was closed. There was a tiny sign at the entrance with the blurred closing time, to which one had no idea if they had already closed, but a person passing by the place told me that they should have had it open. So I decided to return today Friday, March 15th with my lady. We arrived at 15 o'clock, rang the bell and left from the house inside two people saying that they were in the queue and that they reopened at 3:30. So, we took a brief tour of the sector, and we came back at 15:30, meeting several tourists who were waiting for them to reopen. But time passed, and they never did, even though several repeatedly rang the bell. Either the staff in charge were napping, or they were simply gone before their due time. After an hour, at 4:30 p.m., we decided to leave, along with the rest of the remaining tourists. It is a pity that you do not know how to properly manage a site that has everything to be a great museum - for its location and rich history-, a museum that otherwise perhaps ceased to be a long time ago, since it has no sign in its main gate. I am sorry for those tourists who may have often tried to enter this museum, as happened today Friday, and have to give up doing so. But what comes here is even more unpresentable. To stamp a claim, I went to the headquarters of the Ministry of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, in Sotomayor Square, near the supposed museum in question. I asked in information about who depended this, to which I was told that it depended on the Chilean Navy. Then I crossed the street, to Navy Command, where I was told that It was not up to them, but apparently on National Goods. In short, I made the ridicule sovereign going to ask for false information they gave me in a state body, for something that apparently belongs to or administers the state itself. I find it hard to believe that this city, which is supposed to be its historical case a Unesco World Heritage Site, manages its precisely heritage sites.
No longer a museum but there's a man available to let visitors enter and see the views. The exhibits are now in a nearby maritime museum.
