Mercado Fluvial de Valdivia, Valdivia

4.2
Pay a visit to Mercado Fluvial de Valdivia, a lively market bursting with fresh fish and seafood from the region. Set along the Valdivia River, the market features the locally caught bounty of the sea, which ranges from clams and mussels to a whole host of sizeable fish species. Try some for yourself by grabbing freshly prepared fish from one of the many stands in the area. Note that vendors toss the remains of the fish into the river after cleaning; keep your eyes peeled along the water and you may even catch a glimpse of a local sea lion looking for a handout. • To visit Valdivia, eat, buy, etc., your base point is the Fluvial Market. From there you can start various activities and one of them, wonderful, is to tour its rivers. We took a Tour in the Reina Sofia I Catamaran, it is 5 hours x $ 20,000.- p/p and with this you get lunch (colation), plus a welcome sour and elevens, take you to Mancera and Corral with a master guide. The best thing about the truth is, and very comfortable, your weapons your trip. To learn more about Valdivia.... you have to go through it. Recommended.

  • A typical sector of Valdivia and infallible to go, place to obtain fresh seafood and fish, and also vegetable fairs, very typical of the area, ideal to take souvenir photos of the city, on the side is the bridge which you can cross walking and take more photos of a beautiful tour of the river and city, in front of the market there is a craft fair where you can buy souvenirs and gifts from the area, homemade jams and handicrafts, now the most important thing if you visit the city is that from the market the tour of the river and was Spanish colonial rtes, a must-see walk and 100% recommended, there are boats that give you food, drink and lunches, that go with tour guides, very romantic, ideal to know the whole area, eat rich, learn from the history of the city and know the primordial, if you tie nin the opportunity take it, you will love the city, its rivers and everything !!
