Sparkling in the skyline and towering above the city, Grand Santiago Tower lays claim to the title of Latin America's tallest skyscraper at 300 m (984 ft) in height. Architect César Pelli designed the 64-story glass masterpiece, which was unveiled in 2013. The first six floors are taken up by a mall, including a food court and one floor dedicated to a movie theatre. The remaining floors contain offices, with an observation platform available to the public on the 61st and 62nd floors offering panoramic views of the city.
