So, we arrived and was told the fee for our group would be over $60,000 Chillean Pesos. While deciding if we really wanted to pay, the attendant gave us a 50% off discount. While grateful, it seem.... more »

Abandoned park, apparently -- gates have been taken down, and didn't see a single soul during our visit, perhaps because it was a rainy Tuesday. That turned out to be a plus, as we had lots of completely quiet hiking trails entirely for ourselves, and the rain soon turned into snow, turning everything into a winter's paradise. A memorable afternoon!

The work to get there is definitely worth it. Be prepared to get snowed on in deep summer - which might sound awful but it was actually refreshing. Park fees are a little steep in my opinion (8 lukas)
