Not as intimidating as it sounds, Channel of Last Hope (Ultima Esperanza) is a glacier-carved inlet filled with blue waters. The channel was named by the 16th-century Spanish explorer Juan Ladrillero, who felt the inlet was his last chance to reach the Strait of Magellan.   • You get here by boat from Puerto Natales and it is well worth the trip - you can get off and walk to pretty close to the face of the glacier and it is so beautiful - quite stunning - loved it.  more »
