Step into nature for a hike or relaxing break at Huerquehue National Park. Choose your trail from the five available: the shortest is .8 km (.49 mi) and takes roughly one hour, while the longest runs 20.7 km (12.8 mi) and takes about two days. On the trails, stop at one of six picnic areas or set up camp at any of 21 sites. Keep your eyes peeled for several endangered or vulnerable animals including peregrine falcons and Andean foxes. Two ranger stations ensure your safety here. Plan to visit Huerquehue National Park during your Pucon vacation using our convenient Pucon driving holiday planner .
Huerquehue National Park Reviews
Pode ser acessado a partir de Pucón através de ônibus (fique ligado aos horários) ou de carro. It is charged an entry fee of about 3000 pesos and stay tuned to the opening hours, especially in winter. There are several trails in the park, from the simplest to the most complex and difficult. In my case, we left the administration to Laguna Verde, which gives about 6 to 8km. The distance varies somewhat because on the trail to the Laguna there are other trails that lead to some waterfalls. The trail itself is well demarcated, but the unlevel is from medium to high and the clay is in a different moment. There are lookers for the Villarica volcano on the way to the lakes. The vegetation is quite beautiful, with beautiful trees of temperate climate. The Laguna Verde is beautiful and there are some stones to sit and contemplate the view. The trail continues after that, but we had to come back because it would be dark. I recommend to inform the park about the difficulty and availability of the trails. One of them was closed because of snow and some are not suitable for people with little mobility.
El lugar es maravilloso, pero esta muy abandonado, no había nadie a quien preguntar nada. De hecho ni siquiera tuvimos que pagar. De todas formas es un imperdible. more »The place is wonderful, but it is very abandoned, there was no one to ask anything. In fact, we didn't even have to pay. He's a must-have anyway.
