  • A very special park for its particular Valdiviano type forest in the north of Chile. It is currently super well maintained, a remodeled trail even with wheelchair track. Fome, little option to picnic, trekking circuits limited to a certain time of year and short circuit being what there are areas that could be enabled for it. Little profit is made of the place.

  • I returned to the park after 10 years and the route is much more guided, with a wooden trail along the 30 min walk, which makes it less attractive than on my last visit. Although it is a beautiful place with an unusual vegetation for the area, there are parks in Chile much broader to travel. The road is not asphalted, so be prepared for a slow journey. Everything is correctly signposted and does not follow Waze as it sends to wrong roads... Be guided only by the ethical sign (old-fashioned) bring food for your walk, as there is no where to buy. While there is a vehicle that sells to the park entrance the variety is not much. I consumed a dobladita with goat cheese and my husband and daughter a bread kneaded with chicken breast. Both my husband cone my daughter got sick from the stomach with vomiting and colitis... So I recommend buying only beverages and candies.

  • 30 or 40 min to get in to the park. The road is not good, but the park is very nice.
