Survey the ancient petroglyphs at Enchanted Valley (Valle del Encanto), featuring designs carved into rocks over 2,500 years ago. These ruins represent an excellent example of Molle pre-Columbian archaeology and provide some evidence of a hunter-gatherer civilization that existed over 4,000 years ago. Take a guided tour to bring the trip alive with stories and insight into the region and its history. The trail to the ruins is easy and accessible enough; still, you should wear sturdy boots to navigate the less well-maintained gravel road. • A national monument in the midst of all the arid this region can be. It's a surprise to encounter these vestiges. Easy to get there. Good welcome. The person who greeted us is very friendly and handles a lot of information about the place and about the molle. But within this archaeological valley I think there is a better signage missing, I have the feeling that I missed some things because I did not know where they were, despite the map that the manager gives you. It is a very interesting family walk, but there is an area that I think is not suitable for children (Inca baths) and should be warned as a dangerous area. Entry is paid. The best hours to visit is between 12 and 15, because of the light that allows to better identify petroglyphs. Highly recommended

  • A wonderful place, showing pre-Hispanic culture with beautiful hieroglyphics and pictographs. It's extraordinarily cheap, I think they should charge more. The chemical baths are spotless. A must-see, you have to go!!!
