  • A good point for photos by sight. It tells a little about the history of Chile's independence. Easy access and you can park on the street quietly.

  • The visit to this fort is a good activity that allows us to tour testimonies of the history of the Spanish conquest in the south and also to be able to capture very good photographs of the coastal landscape of the sector. The location is central because it is not far from the center of Ancud. At the entrance you will find a typical craft offer of the area.

  • Great view over the ocean and the park is though very small, but the entrance is free !
  • It's a must see in Ancud, however there is not so much guide for the tourist. This is a historical point, where one of the decisive battles for the independence of Chile took place, as the commemorative plate says (in a very old spanish).
