We were on a private tour and stopped by the fort after lunch. It had a nice view of the lake, but there really wasn't much else there. I wouldn't make a spsecial trip. more »
Great view over the ocean and the park is though very small, but the entrance is free !
It's a must see in Ancud, however there is not so much guide for the tourist. This is a historical point, where one of the decisive battles for the independence of Chile took place, as the commemorative plate says (in a very old spanish).
