A remote and secluded oasis, Guelta d’Archei was created by underground water emerging to the surface hundreds of years ago. • During a trek in the desert of the Ennedi in Chad, after a few days of walking, we arrived at the Guelta of Archei. An extraordinary place. In the middle of the arid desert runs a river in which we could observe crocodiles. It is also the place where every day, the camel drivers take their camels so they drinking. We see hundreds of camels one after the other to bathe and drink. They sing! surprisingly, I had never heard that elsewhere. It is not easy to access a big day of road to Faya Largeau, but it's a really magical place.
