  • The trail starts by the great divide lodge. It’s a lovely slow start, with beautiful trees and streams. The hike to the fire lookout is very manageable. The fire lookout is a big shelter to have a snack out of the elements. It’s would be lovely to hike up a picnic. After the lookout the elevation is steep and you’re out of the tree line and into a scramble. There isn’t much of a trail to follow and you may end up at the false summit. It’s loose rock on the way down too.
  • A very straight forward scramble from the top of the Paget Lookout trail. Impressive views of Sherbrooke Lake and Mount Niles to the north and The peaks surrounding Lake O’Hara to the south from the summit.
