Whistler Olympic Plaza, Whistler

I love this place. The playground is super cool and kids love playing inside the giant tree, go down the slides and up and down the stairs and ladders. Super cool place with lots of fun coffee shops and stores. Always a go to with my students on those rainy days

The Olympic Plaza is the center of attraction in Whistler. It is where you will find the Olympic Rings of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games which were held in this Alpine town. There are great ski slopes on the mountains around. The Olympic Plaza is now a large open space where tourists come to have their selfies taken with the Rings and manicured lawns as the beautiful backdrop. The walk from Whistler Village to the Plaza is a charming one with eateries, curio shops and other outlets lining both sides of "The Village Stroll". The walkway is free of vehicles which have to be parked in designated parking lots nearby.
