Get some fresh air and take the easygoing hike along paved and gravel trails to Lost Lake, a pristine lake set in dense evergreen forest. If you visit between June and September you’ll find an area for swimming, as well as plenty of barbecue spots surrounding the lake. Consider bringing a picnic and sitting on the green grass beside the water to eat. During the winter months, the lake exudes an altogether different beauty, as the paths transform into cross-country skiing trails. You can't bring dogs to the lake, but you can take them to a dog-friendly area nearby. Use our Whistler driving holiday planner to add Lost Lake and other attractions to your Whistler vacation plans.

  • Went for a walk on the accessible wide trail from Upper Village to Lost Lake and Back. Very enjoyable for a leisurely, 2-hour walk.  more »

  • Really enjoyed all the trails, the nature was pristine the paths were CLEAN, the views were amazing. Ran across (both tourists and locals) people walking, jogging, biking and taking their dogs out.. over all a great spot when you're up in Whistler and want to get out of the main tourist areas a bit.
  • Great beach and lake to swim or float on. Much less busy than Alta Lake and walkable from some of the nearby resorts. There are also plenty of biking/walking trails around this area.
