  • Loved the place. Such a dainty small castle in the heart of the city, was a welcome sight. The history came alive through the pictures, costumes, furniture etc. Some of the rooms are still not done renovating. The Christmas decorations made the place even more beautiful. Worth visiting !
  • Craigdarroch is a complete, well-maintained example of Victorian-era construction and furnishing. It has a good mix of information on the history of the house and grounds and surrounding area but also beautiful furnishings that provides one a sense of what it must have been like to live in the home. But the staff make the visit especially memorable. They are genuinely attentive and friendly, easily sharing interesting information not only about the house and its history but about the surrounding area. It was from one the staff that we a recommendation for the Parliamentary Dining Room, which was superlative.
