Stroll on woodland and shoreline trails, or hop on a horse-drawn carriage and meander around the many ponds and landscaped gardens at Beacon Hill Park. The park is home to raccoons, squirrels, river otters, swans, turtles, ducks, and geese, but also to some notable manmade structures. See what was once the world's tallest totem pole carved by Kwakwaka'wakw artisan Mungo Martin in 1956, which is nearly 39 m (127 ft) high. Notice how each of the benches is dedicated to someone loved and dearly remembered. The park also features two playgrounds, a waterpark, playing fields, and tennis courts. Golf enthusiasts can try their putting skills on a putting green. Children will love the petting zoo, where they can touch baby goats. From June to September, visitors of all ages can enjoy concerts on the stage in the middle of the park. To plan Victoria vacation without wasting time, ask Inspirock to design an itinerary.

  • What a beautiful sight! We walked there for a good hour and loved every minute of it. The clouds started fading and we could see the snowy mountains a. It was a very cold day when we visited but will definitely visit during another season on our next trip to Victoria
  • This place is absolutely beautiful. I cannot wait to come back in spring/summer. There are tons of ducks and peacocks hear that are relatively tame and you can get pretty close to them. If you throw some seeds by the pond you can watch as about hundred ducks all swim over to you, it's incredible. Absolutely would recommend this place if you want to go for a walk or kill some time.
