  • We were there for the lights festival just before Christmas. It was a good experience for the winter. Nice lights with recycled material. Good ideas with lots of places for taking photos.  more »
  • We visited from another near by city and this was our third time this year as we enjoyed the gardens and restaurants. Visited Sept 6th, we are seniors, can walk but wish there was more seating in...  more »

  • Parking is hard during peak hours, but check out the side streets nearby to see if you can get lucky. Great attraction in Vancouver during all points of the year! Visitor centre is clean and well maintained, and staff are generally friendly and welcoming. The walking paths are pretty small in spots, but that’s typical of a botanical garden in my experience. Would highly recommend going around the holidays for their Festival of Lights!
  • We have been to and enjoyed many Botanic Gardens throughout the world, and this is in the top 6 for sure! It is spacious, and has a little bit of everything. It will not disappoint; plantings and flowers amongst great open spaces, forested areas, water (both still & falling), and a fun Maze. IF any fault, it would be too few large flowering areas.
