  • Great place to visit for where history comes to life. I love that they have a restoration area in the back and interpreters around too. I would love for them to get clever with interactive tour page for the younger crowd. Eg search and stamp page or search and build. Something to draw more of a younger crowd. Maybe a monthly schedule of events. Great place for organizations to rent as well.
  • I spent over two hours with kids, who had fun exploring the planes, and participated in search with prizes. It was great to learn that museum has family programming for some holidays and weekends, and some interactive exhibits, but I would say those are for older visitors. Not all staff was welcoming, but we didn’t let that fact get us down, and decided to come back when the outdoor portion gets opened in spring.
