  • worth the visit, fun history and friendly people the hike behind the museum is a favorite for me. it is a wonderful trail.  more »
  • Aside from the train inside the museum, the best is the Live camera set up on Youtube. You can see the weather, mountain and all the trains along the tracks.  more »
  • If you have an interest in trains this is the stop for you. It is privately owned and run. The museum is both inside and outside exhibits of train engines (steam & diesel) along with track maintenance equipment. Information videos are quite interesting along with a simulator of operation of the train for $2.00 if I remember correctly. There is a $10 entrance fee but it is well worth it and helps to run the facility. You will not be disappointed.
  • The CPR is a huge part of B.C., Canada, and the area. This Museum does a great job telling so many stories of what it must have been like. You never thought that clearing snow off the lines was interesting until you see it done. So much to see and do. A great cloudy / rainy day adventure. Kids will love this place, just don't let them run around crazy. Chinese workers are highlighted up the stairs, don't miss their stories. If you have the time out the back are cool things to look at on the tracks. Worth the price, and the people are nice + helpful.
