Mount Revelstoke National Park Reviews
Visited this great park in first week of August when all the wildflowers were in bloom, and it was a real treat to the eyes. Due to limited time, we only had less than two days to enjoy this area. We ... more »
A steep drive but so worth it for the views on the way up and down the hill and the panoramic views from the top of Mt Revelstoke. Guides who drove the minibus from th car park to the summit were a gr... more »
One of the most beautiful places I've ever visited. We drove to the parking lot and walked the rest of the way to the summit instead of taking the shuttle. It was a gentle enough walk and took a short time to get to the top. There are numerous other hiking trails on the mountain, and when we reached the top there were lovely trails of different levels of difficulty. The views are incredible! I highly recommend visiting it!
We visited the Giant Cedar board walk while staying near Revelstoke. We've never seen trees this big, really makes you feel small. The Giant Cedars are a definite must see! We then visited Meadows in the Sky Parkway, the car ride up is something you don't get to experience often, zigzagging as you continue to drive up the mountain side. Once you get to the parking lot you can choose to hike different trails, we hiked to the summit to see some breath-taking views from the North Parapet lookout. Parks Canada offers a shuttle ride back to the parking lot after if you need it (no charge). There is so much more to see, wish we could have spent more time to explore.
