Treehouse Red Deer Indoor Playground Reviews
Took our grandson and a couple of close friends for an afternoon of fun. They all came away happy, but tired. more »
This is definitely designed for young children - probably up to age 10 or so. We went with our 4 and an 8 year old grandsons.. They loved it. it has an area to "build" things, play with things and..... more »
Although it is a fun place for the kiddos, I wouldn’t recommend a party here because of the price and what you get. I spent over $500 for my daughters party. You get the room for an hour and a half. The room itself was really quiet and when I asked our party co-ordinator to turn on some music we could only listen to techno/house music really quietly. The food was also not very good, cold pizzas from frozen kind of deal, and you are forced to buy it from them as they do not allow outside food or drink. I would say this is a great place to take your kids for the day but save yourself the money and have a party somewhere else.
We went to Treehouse Indoor Playground in Red Deer for the first time in December. It was beyond my expectations. Though I've heard details about it through family I never imagined it to be so large and immerse. It wasn't busy the day we had gone, late in the afternoon. We were able to enjoy much of the main playground to ourselves, and played in there for over an hour. Climbing under, over, and through the mazes. Rolling around in the ball pit. Slipping down the high slides. Beyond the main playground, the building itself was also impressive. The interior was bright and colourful and surprisingly spacious. There were even small interactive activities coming from the projection lights above (e.g: digital fish swimming in a little pond). Upon the gated entrance, where the staff takes care not to let children out unless accompanied by their registered family, there was a room with kid-friendly arcade games. In the upper story was the preschooler/toddler room and the cafeteria. The food is about the only thing preventing me from giving 5 total stars. We had our dinner here: movie-theatre, hockey-rink style. Plain nachos dipped in liquid cheese, popcorn chicken, you know the deal. In my opinion it was a bit overpriced for the amount and quality of the food that you get. However, for a quick snack, it wouldn't be a problem. A plus is that they do sell pizzas and hand out order numbers to alert you when your food is ready, which would come in handy for kids' birthday parties or extremely busy days. Overall, I do recommend this place, especially for the cold winter months. It's a perfect spot for birthdays or play dates. There is no doubt it will keep your kids - and possibly yourself, if you can loosen up enough to join in - entertained. We left Treehouse Indoor Playground knowing we'd love to go again sometime soon.
