Fossli Provincial Park
Fossli Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada, located on Stirling Arm of Sproat Lake on Vancouver Island. The 52-hectare park, west of Port Alberni, is accessible by water or private logging road. It has few services, but has a 30-minute hiking trail to an old homestead site. The homestead belonged to Helen and Armour Ford, who donated the land for the park to the province in 1974. remember to wear good walking shoes as there is a lot of down-up hill in this walk. It ends at the beach where you can swim. No washrooms available. Not suitable for kids who are not able to keep up..... more »

We never get tired of this hike, the river, the waterfall, a little hilly, a perfect outing not too far away from Port Alberni. It took us about 45 minutes. Bring your camera! more »

It's a nice hike through the park and over a suspension bridge to the shore of Sproat Lake. There is an out house available and a picnic area not far from the beach. The main trail is easy to walk and can be done with kids but not something you could do with a stroller. In winter and early spring some of the trails are likely to have logs across them because this park is not serviced frequently.

Great short trail with a nice small waterfall. Goes Down to the lake as well. Road is a gravel forest service road to get there so it can be a bit rough.
