  • The Aviation and Space Museum has more tactile things to do and you can actually sit and touch more things than the war museum regardless of how old the kid is...  more »
  • This was well laid out and the staff were very friendly. Again, any intereactive displays were not available due to COVID measures.  more »

  • My wife and I were so excited to do our wedding at the Canada Aviation and Space Museum back In August 2018. We went to discuss our wedding plans with the museum manager, and were happy with the venue and the things that she offered us in the beginning. After we had paid the full rental amount as per the contract, they took away some event related equipment that the manager had verbally agreed to have for the wedding. We had to run around last minute to pay other vendors for the items that were required. We also had e-mail communications with the museum's coordinator about our event, but realized lots of disorganization and lack of communication between the staff. Two days after the wedding, the museum charged us $500 security deposit claiming that we made changes to the floor plan on the day of the wedding. We asked our wedding planner about this later and she confirmed to us that when she showed up to the venue, the museum's set up of the tables was not the same as the museum's updated floor plan which was approved by the museum's coordinator prior to the event date. We brought this up to the manager, but were disappointed with her reaction when she claimed that our vendors were aggressive which was not true and does not qualify to have a security deposit charged. After confirming with our wedding planner that this is not true, the manager started pointing fingers at other vendors in the event. The manager did not want to reimburse us for their own mistakes and lack of proper communication between her staff. On the day of the wedding, we were told we cannot use dry ice which was paid for and the manager had verbally agreed on prior to the wedding. Although the venue was nice, my wife and I do not recommend this place for anyone as the service was poor and not trustworthy.
  • Lots of fun and interesting info to be had! Sarah the tour guide was excellent and very knowledgeable! 👍 The kids loved all the plane exhibitions. It was well worth the price of admission for a family of five ($42 taxes included) Highly recommended for a family outing.
