Chain Lakes Provincial Park reviews
I stopped there enroute to Calgary. The washrooms were clean. Most people didn't have their pets on leash so that was a bit annoying with wet dogs everywhere. more »
Lake is great we all had a great time including the dogs only down part and the 3star rating..the concession...food was gross..the grease for the fries was so old you could taste the burnt grease... more »
Wood and propane fires are not permitted in the campsites. This is not a good place to camp if your idea of camping involves relaxing around a fire. If you want a place to picnic it would be fine. Can be very windy here, which is probably why fires aren't permitted. Great mountain views. Night skies are wonderful.
Nice quiet place. Great lake to go try your luck at fishing or just going for a picnic like we did. Campsites look to be quite private and the park is well kept. Could tend to be more windy there as your in the foothills. Great scenery and I'm sure there's lots to go look at within a hours drive each direction too of you like to explore.
