  • I brought my four-year old son here one afternoon at the start of his summer vacation. We always drive by and he asks about the flame, so I figured it would be interesting to visit. I never really gave Dr. Banting and his discovery of insulin much thought, since no one I know has diabetes, but now that we have visited and seen the impact his discovery has on millions of lives, I feel very proud that this house is part of London heritage. I think it's important that everyone living in London or visiting take some time to visit this house and learn about Dr. Banting's incredibly important medical discovery. Even though my son is only four, our wonderful tour guide made it very interesting for him. They even have a photo scavenger hunt for young children to do as we were guided through the house. It's very well done and an important place to visit.
  • Lovely piece of history. Staff are upbeat, polite and knowledgeable. Not accessible to get upstairs if you are in a wheelchair though.
